This is contender #2 for ALQS4. (Unfinished as yet – in case you didn’t notice.)
Its foil, fusible webbing, tissue paper, organza, stitch and half rusted buttons.
Close ups:
Have got another couple of ideas I want to try out, if I have time, then I will need help in deciding which one to send off. :)
Also been putting together a few samples for a workshop I have coming up in a couple of weeks down in Kent. I think you can guess what the subject is.
And that’s about the sum total of my week!
Unfortunately, this lovely weather we’ve been having means the pace at work has started to pick up – and I have started to slow down. *LOL*

I love all your rust samples and the 'coat'. Such gorgeous textures and colours. My creativity has ground to a halt but I dare say it will come back.
Beautiful beautiful textures Lynda - lucky students! What fantastic eye candy and inspiration for them!
Intresting that we are both working with rust at the moment. I will post some pictures tomorrow of what I have been doing.
I do hope you can come and take a course at our EG soon. Those people in Kent are very lucky.
I'm sure anyone else in ALQS would be delighted with that wonderful piece.
