I promised a textured postcard swap with Debbi Baker, who does some wonderful work, for the end of June.
So I started experimenting last week - and got a bit carried away.
I ended up with 30 postcards!
So, if anyone else would like to swap, or if you would just like me to send you one in particular, then leave a comment and make sure I can reply to your comment by email and I will contact you for your snail mail address.
Needless to say the colours are all much nicer than in the photographs.

Wow!!! these are so lovely Linda. I love them all, but especially the blue ones.
Now we all know where you've been hiding yourself for the past 2 weeks. It's hard to choose they are all so nice, maybe no 9,10 or 11, or there again 21, 22 and 27 are nice as well. I'd be chuffed to get anything you pick.
I would love to trade a card with you Lynda! I'm totally in love with all of them, but really partial to numbers 23, 24, or 25.

Isn't it nice when you get carried away with what you're doing?
Great, wonderfull! I would love to trade a card with you.
Oh, the cards are so wunderfull. And the colores are so fantastic.
How did you do the first few ones? The scrim? I've been trying to work this technique out for a while now.
Darn - looks like I've been pipped at the post in terms of getting ahold of one of these cards, but still, wanted to leave a comment to say how much I like them...
Can see that it was easy to get carried away with these postcards, the textural effect looks absolutely lovely and the colours are gorgeous.
I'm guessing that you use some PVA and paint over the lace or scrim? Would like to know how you achieve the effects or is it a "trade secret"?
Regards
Sue
