Gifts in the post

What a nice feeling to come home to post that you are not expecting.
This first one I was sort of expecting - but not quite so soon!
Its a 'quiltie' swap that I am in on Unlimited Textiles. The theme for September is 'Colour Combinations'.
This wonderful blue one is from Liz Counsell and the card was made by her daughter. Thank you Liz.
The next package comes from Susan - Papoosue (Random Blethers) as a thank you for something I sent her a while back. Very unexpected and very much appreciated. I'll have to make sure Libby doesn't see this or it will go in her little box of treasures that she keeps along with all her other pink bits and pieces. Thanks Susan.
Another surprise, this time from Gina, Fan My Flame. Gina has only just recently started blogging, her work on the blog and her website is wonderful. She is in France at the moment on a stitching holiday with Val Holmes - looking forward to hearing all about that. Thank you Gina.
And more...
Two page swaps from the Fibre Art Friends Group on my theme of 'Black and white and a dash of red'. These are the very last two. It amazes me how quickly the last 9 months have flown past. Its now time to put the whole book together.

The first one is from Kim 'Skybell Arts' The stitching is just so neat it is a pleasure to look at. Go take a look at Kims work, she creates really great art pieces with her fabrics.

And finally, this one from my good friend SueB. Covered in hand sewn beads! It is so heavy. I know Sue put an awful lot of time and effort into this piece and it shows. It is absolutely fabulous to handle.

Mind you, Sue always puts a lot of effort into everything she does, if you go take a look at Sues blog for today you will see a whole pile of Art Tags that she and Terri have created especially to take to Houston with them as swaps or giveaways - all 288 of them!!
