Friday Freebie

OK so its not Friday in the UK for a few more hours but I wanted to get this post on to give my friend Doreen a chance to put her name down before she goes off on a jaunt to Tasmania - lucky lady!

A few days ago I decided to have a sort through of all the things I know will most probably never get used - and believe me I have a skip load of stuff!
So for the next three weeks I will do a 'Friday Freebie' here on my blog. Then I'll have a break and do the same thing again in a few weeks time.

This is package number 1. If you fancy giving a home to what you see in these two photos then just drop me an email to: purplemissus@aol.com or leave a comment below and I will get grandchild number 2, Charlie aged 16 months to draw a name out of a bag on Sunday afternoon.

These fabrics are all in shades of green - not everyones favourite colour! The four at the back are patchwork fabrics and the rest are hand-dyed silk and cotton. The front piece is cotton velvet in a gorgeous lime green shade. Plus some left over yarn from a funky spine journal I made recently.
The scrapbooking Vintage Ephemera book is complete as far as I can tell. And just out of interest I worked out that the motif must be at least 25 years old! The other bits were freebies themselves from somewhere or other.

A bit of an odd mix I suppose but I do have to think about cost of postage.

I'll mail the package to the drawn name on Monday and will let you all know who it was.

Just to let you know that this website will be published in the next few days.

Carol and I started planning some time ago to have a joint online exhibition. This website was originally developed to show that exhibition, but in our eagerness to try out products we decided to launch it earlier and make the supplies we have available straight away. We intend to add more in time, along with a few other exciting developments, and will launch our exhibition in the new year.
