Fibre in-Form

I decided to add something to this canvas that I created last weekend.
I used the smocking machine threaded with wire to pleat a piece of copper coloured tissue fabric and fixed it to the canvas. The ends of wire are still attached although you cannot see them in this photograph. If you click on the photo you get a much better idea of what it looks like.
I then put more metallic foil over the tissue fabric to echo the foil on the canvas.
I know some people turn their nose up at too much foil, preferring a more subtle approach – but my motto is: If you’ve got it, flaunt it!!
You can never have too much bling :)

And speaking of foil:
is now launched and waiting for your visit.
Please come over and give us a look. We may not have what you want at this moment in time, but call back regularly, Carol and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
