FAF Page Swap for June

My fabric page swap partner in the FAF group for June was Mags – Digital Gran.

This is the page she sent me for my theme ‘Black & White & a dash of Red’.

The background is synthetic velvet/panne velvet/ stretchy velvet/acrylic velvet – I have heard it called all these things, and would certainly welcome someone telling me the correct term.
The white rectangles are silk and Mags has free machine embroidered over the top in red thread and then FME once again on the black background in white thread.
It's a very lovely piece of work. Thank you Mags.

And this is the tag that matches it.

How lovely to read what you have said and those lovely comments.
I must say that the photos you took are much better than mine. Thanks Lynda.

This is wonderful. I love the spiky curls, I liked being surprised by this detail -- I probably would have left them smooth...this is much more interesting.
