Birthday card

Now that I know she has received it safely, I can show you the postcard I made for Francoise of Creatilfun who had a birthday recently. We are going to make and send a postcard each time a member of FiberArt Friends has a birthday.
The background is an off white silk dupion. I made a pocket from acetate and captured some Angelina fibre, glitter and sequins inside. The wording has been printed on handmade paper and I added a charm which says 'create' just as a little extra.
Not my usual sort of thing but what I hope to be able to do for the birthday postcards is create one with the recipient in mind and for me this one sums up Francoise.
Hmm... maybe you ought to disregard that last paragraph, just in case someone gets one that I have decided to bleach, distress, age, burn, etc. :)

It's a beautiful card - having said that I'd be delighted with a bleached, burned and generally distressed card - would suit me fine!!!

Great card! I'll be excited to see how you "sum" me up. I love all the work you've already done, so I know it will be great come April.
