Simply Fused

From the back cover of the DVD:
‘Sarah Lawrence has been creating textiles and teaching for many years, both in the UK and around the world. She also runs the craft supply business www.craftynotions.com.
Sarah shows you how to turn Angelina and Crystalina fibres and Fusible Film into fabulous sheets of iridescent magic.’

Purchased this DVD in the hope that it would show experimental ways of using Angelina Fibres.

The techniques described were basically for cardmaking & scrapbooking but could easily be adapted for textiles.

Sarah Lawrence started off by exploring the ‘family’ of fusible fibres and how to use them to the best effect. This was followed by colouring, inclusions and stamping.

The bit that interested me the most was at the very end. The chapter ‘Dipping and Glazing’ This showed how to make 3D items, particularly beads, using UTEE and a Meltilng Pot.

Now, this I will have a go at!
